Victorian Coffin Bearers Funeral Cart having rollers to glide the coffin into place and leather straps to secure in place.
 
The top section has two fold down wooden sides.
 
This is above a metal framed four wheeled base which has a steering lever.
 
This has to be one of the strangest things we have ever put up for sale. It is VERY different!!
 
The funeral cart is solid and sturdy and is in full working order!
 
It has a great patina which comes with age and use.
 
There are signs of historic worm - but it remains inactive and has been treated.
 
This coffin cart has come from a funeral directors which has since ceased trading.
 
If you’re looking for something that bit different - certainly a talking piece - then this might be for you!

The age and condition of our furniture is described to the best of our ability, to enable you to make an informed decision prior to purchase - please read the item description carefully.

 

All our furniture is either antique or second hand, and therefore there may be cosmetic age related surface marks, and or scratches and fading, where identified in the item description.

If furniture shows signs of historic worm, we will check that this is inactive and treat accordingly to give both you and us peace of mind. Any signs of historic worm will be described in the description.

Delivery Information

We offer FREE delivery to England, Wales and most parts of Scotland (excluding The Highlands), If delivery is required to Northern Scotland, please contact us prior to purchase.

We do not currently offer delivery outside of mainland UK, or to the Scottish Highlands.

We do not currently offer international shipping, but will work with existing freight distributors.

Collection is available from our warehouse - LL14 1TG. Please select collection at checkout.

 

Timescale

Between 5 – 15 Working Days.

 

Delivery Information

You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered, and you are responsible for cost of return. Should you wish for us to arrange collection, please get in touch.
