The cabinet retains an excellent colour and patina, with only minimal age-related wear—small veneer chips and a minor chip to the back right foot, both discreet and naturally darkened over time.
 
Comprising four drawers in total, all run smoothly and retain their matching brass handles. Above, a pair of large, panelled doors open to reveal a thoughtfully arranged interior: a hanging rail to the left and five sliding trays to the right, offering versatile storage for linens, garments, or household treasures.
 
The key is present and functional, though with the gentle quirks one expects from an antique piece. The press conveniently dismantles into three sections—base drawer, central hanging, and crown—for ease of transport and placement.
