Early Twentieth Century Mahogany Cabin Washstand
Early twentieth-century mahogany cabin washstand - the moulded lift up top encloses a lined interior, set over a barrel fronted section and fall front section having a lead-lined interior and fitted wash bowl, soap holder and swing-out tap, above a panelled cupboard door with towel rail to the back - all raised on a fret cut plinth base.
The top was originally set with a mirror, both removable arms still and frame present but lacking the mirrored plate, wash basin cracked and with some chips - also one handle missing to the barrel front section.
There are some superficial cosmetic marks here and there - but nothing major to note!
Despite its few issues - this really is a very interesting decorative piece of antique furniture - very much a room changer!
