Antique Continental heavily inalid cupboard / bookcase having an ornate top and sides, with beautiful mouldings to the lower cupboard doors and inlaid design all over - this all rests on bun feet.
The upper bookcase is lined with three wooden shelves enclosed by glazed doors furnished with a knob. 
To the base of the shelves are two small compartments which we think may have housed two drawers. 
The base cupboard is open internally, but a shelf could be added easily enough.
This is a very striking and ornate piece - it is quite beautiful!  It has a beautiful patina that only comes with use and age. It has a beautiful warm colour and would fit in with most decor and surroundings.
There are a couple of options finials missing to the top with some signs of wear but it in no way detracts from the piece. There are also some bumps and marks here and there - but this is to be expected with a piece of this age and if anything it enhances the piece!
The middle hinge to the right hand door is also not attached - but it in no way affects its use. 
Regardless of its few small war wounds - it remains a great piece of furniture - very much the room changer and it affords great storage!
 The cabinet splits into two pieces for ease of movement and transport.
