Antique Two Fold Oriental Screen
Antique oriental two fold screen depicting two birds on branches with flowers. Much of the decoration is mother of pearl and there is a brass inlay framed ring around the depiction.
The screen itself is black carved in an oriental fashion and there is a deep red colour around the pictured panels. The screen rests on metal castors.
This is a beautiful antique screen BUT, much of the mother of pearl to the body of the birds and to the branches which the birds sit on has gone. There are also some small other pieces missing - leaves and flowers. Please see ALL photographs!
Despite this - it remains a beautiful piece and if you’re artistic - could possibly paint in the branches and the main body of the birds… personally, I like the piece as is in its raw state!
